Chromebook Check-Out Days for New School Year

Dear ECA Families,
The school year is fast approaching and there is lots to do to get ready!  Please see the attached letter from Sue Estell, ECA/CEC Technology Support, with details about what students need to do to prepare on the technology front.
The two major tasks will be to review and agree to the APS Acceptable Use of Technology policy, and to check out a Chromebook for the year.
To ensure that everyone has reviewed the Acceptable Use of Technology policy, we are asking everyone to either bring the signed form when they pick up their Chromebook, or email it to Sue Estell at estell@aps.edu.  Please see the attached letter for details and the link to the form.
The minimize the log jam on the first day of school, we are offering several days and times that students can pick up their Chromebook before school starts:


Chromebook Check-Out for RETURNING Students

  • Thursday, August 4  •  9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Friday, August 5  •  9:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Monday, August 8  •  12:00 noon - 6:00 pm

Students should see ECA Tech Sue Estell in the Technology room (B101) to check out their Chromebook.

Chromebook Check-Out for NEW and 9th Grade Students
 - as part of Jump Start Day - on Tuesday, August 9

  • NEW Students:  9:30 - 10:30 am
  • 9th Grade Students:  1:15 - 3:00 pm

NEW and 9th Grade Students may also check out a Chromebook between 3:00 and 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, before the New Parent/Family Orientation.
